Studying the International Foundation Year and Extended International Foundation year
To join us at Liverpool John Moores University International Study Centre, you must meet certain academic and English language criteria.
Our courses are available to students who are:
- must turn 18 within 6 weeks of joining their undergraduate programme
- non-UK nationals.

You can start your studies with a UKVI approved Secure English Language Test (SELT), or an accepted alternative equivalent assessment, provided you meet all the programme entry requirements.
The test results must have been achieved in the past 24 months and meet the minimum English equivalency score for your chosen programme.
