What is the Extended International Foundation Year?

The Extended International Foundation Year is a three-semester undergraduate foundation programme. It offers extra support and training to ensure smooth progression to the first year of your chosen degree at LJMU.

Who is this programme for?

This programme perfect for international students who are unable to gain direct entry on to the International Foundation Year and who need extra support in business or science subjects.

What you will study?

The Extended International Foundation Year programme offers two pathways, which lead to undergraduate study at Liverpool John Moores University. Students on the Extended International Foundation Year can choose between studying either Business, Law and Social Studies or Engineering, Computing and Life Sciences. Completion of either pathway will lead on to a variety of progression degrees.
